Please click on this link if you'd like more information about the ISCT admissions process. We accept applications throughout the year.
ISCT is a school that aims to use the best methods of teaching to enhance the learning of students. Technology has become increasingly integrated into teaching and research clearly shows the benefits of this. So at ISCT we use a pedagogy that embraces 21st century skills and we strive to provide a technology infrastructure that supports learning in order to prepare students for life beyond school.
PTA is primarily a social organisation, with the emphasis on fun and social events, with a secondary aim of fund-raising. They organise a number of key events throughout the year, including coffee mornings, parent dinners and the annual ISCT Fun Day.
Parent Liaison Committee
The purpose of the Parent Liaison Committee (PLC) is to support ISCT in strengthening relations between parents and staff, the school management team, and its parent company, Education Development Trust. The aim is to represent the interests of parents and students and to be a conduit for constructive feedback between parents and the school. The goal is to help create a supportive learning environment for our children.
The PLC is an advisory body. It is not a formal decision making body of the school. To contact the PLC, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Bursary Trust Fund
The purpose of the trust is to provide financial support to underprivileged students to study at ISCT. The trust will give preference to potential students who were previously disadvantaged in South African society.

The library is a vibrant and central part of our school. Mrs van Tonder, our librarian is always happy to have parents help with covering books, shelving, labelling or issuing.
Parents in the Nursery and Reception classes have the opportunity to read to their children’s class at story time. There is a sign up roster outside the classroom.
The Nearly New uniform shop is run by the PTA who are always looking for volunteers to assist them. Email email@example.com if you would like to help – this is a great way of getting to know the other parents at ISCT!
Class Reps (Parents)
Every class in the primary school has a parent class representative. Their role ranges from welcoming new parents and classmates to co-ordinating birthday cards for teachers and end-of-year parties.
